Becoming an Historical Society Member
Please help us preserve local history by becoming a member of the Society. You can purchase memberships securely on-line by clicking on the membership level link below.
We urge you to take a moment to consider becoming a member of the Society, thereby adding your voice to our efforts to convey the story of this community and the people who lived here to future generations. The Society receives no on-going operating support from local, state, or federal governments. The Society is extremely grateful to local foundations and the City of Charlottesville for having over the years provided targeted project grants. Community businesses have also provided much needed support of specific projects and programs.
"The Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society is a non-profit organization relying entirely on the generosity of supporters---your family, friends and neighbors---to preserve, promote, and celebrate the history of our community."
