I grew up on Tiverton and have been searching for photos when Dr. Frederick and Mariska Owsley owned it. Any help would be appreciated.

There were a group of Tiverton photos taken in 1912 (when the house was pretty new) by the Holsinger Studio that is in the Holsinger online collection, easily available for you to look at on UVA’s Small Collections website:  http://www2.lib.virginia.edu/small/collections/holsinger/; we have a collection of about 30 images of the house (different rooms, aspects, and grounds) taken in the 1980’s, the Milton Waff collection of images.  The image posted above was part of five photo albums once owned by ACHS.
