Biographical/Historical Information: Rolfe Eldridge (1744- ) was the son of Thomas Eldridge and Martha Bolling. He married Susanna Everard Walker in 1773. Eldridge served as Clerk of Buckingham County, Va., 1770-1806 and as a churchwarden for Tillotson Parish.

Scope and Content: Copy of manuscript prepared by J.P. Madison concerning the contract for Rolfe Eldridge as an apprentice to Thomas Griffin Peachy, 1759. Includes family data on the Eldridge, Bolling, Rolfe, and Peachy families.
