Biographical/Historical Information: Maria Louisa Magruder (1877-1947) was the daughter of Henry Minor Magruder and Sarah Gilmer Minor of Edgemont, near Stony Point in Albemarle County, Va.

Magruder discussed family news and events surrounding the Stony Point area of Albemarle County. Included is a transcript of the diary along with notes, a map of the Edgemont property, and family trees.
