Scope and Content: Holograph of handwritten notes regarding statues and monuments in and around Charlottesville, done January 1923 - author unknown. Some detail given on Lewis and Clark, George Rogers Clark, and Stonewall Jackson statues; others have only rudimentary notes. Included are the Jack Jouett tablet, the Daniel Boone trial tablet, the Letitia Shelby grave marker, and William Wirt burial. Miscellaneous notes copied from Woods' Albemarle County.
