Scope and Content: The Whitlock family bible begins with Samuel Whitlock (1791-1875) of Goochland County, Virginia. It came into the possession of Julian Botts Andrews, Sr. (1850-1932), who lived at 511 Ridge Street in Charlottesville, Virginia. Andrews' mother was Margaret T. Whitlock (1810-1882), though the relationship between Margaret and Samuel Whitlock is unknown.
