Mary Oakley Hay Collection

Mary Oakley Hay (1873-1965) spent the last decade of her life in Charlottesville. She was known for her volunteer and social work, especially for children.

Rinehart Family Collection

James Hollis Rinehart (1871-1942) brought his family to Albemarle County and Charlottesville from Covington, Virginia. The Rinehart family owned thousands of acres and owned multiple buildings in Charlottesville, which they rented out.
