Biographical/Historical Information: The Meriwether Society was formed in 1979 at a meeting of Meriwether cousins in Williamsburg, Virginia. It is a hereditary society of the descendants of Nicholas Meriwether (1631-1678). The Meriwether Connections newsletter was first published in 1982 to connect family members with historical and genealogical information.
Scope and Content: This is the quarterly newsletter Meriwether Connections. It includes genealogical information and histories of Meriwether family members.
