Biographical/Historical Information: Midway Plantation is located near White Hall. John Rodes III built the main residence in 1807. The plantation remained in the Rodes family until 1905.
Scope and Content: This is an architectural report of Midway Plantation. It includes 76 photographs and 20 color slides of the interior and exterior spaces of the main residence, plus the dependencies. Also included are copies of deeds from the Albemarle County courthouse and a short history on Midway written by Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society volunteer David Lyster, July 2019.
