Biographical/Historical Information: Jill Tietsort Rinehart (1920-2014) was the daughter of John D. Tietsort and Edith Brisben Tietsort. She married William Rinehart III in 1940. Jill was a founding member and president of the Charlottesville-Albemarle Democratic Women's Club from 1970-1972. She was the first woman elected to city council in 1972.
