Biographical/Historical Information: Thomas Marshall (abt. 1769 - 1849) lived in the Earlysville area of Albemarle County, Virginia. He married Susannah Rodes (born abt. 1771) on 13 December 1792 in Albemarle County.
Scope and Content: This is a photocopy of the genealogical study Some Descendants of Thomas Marshall and Susannah Rodes of Albemarle County, Virginia. by Mrs. Obadiah Bass (Lexington, Kentucky). Along with discussions of family lines, there is information about John Wesley Marshall's farm near Boyd's Tavern, Virginia. It includes the names and addresses of family members collected between 1933 and 1936. This collection also includes a typed letter from Thomas F. Norris, Jr. to Eugenia F. Lewis, 5 November 1987, forwarding the photocopy of the original book.
